Hi! I really want to thank you for all your info in this. I am just starting out on Etsy, started listing in Oct and realized there is a LOT of marketing that needs to be done in order to generate traffic. Sales are very few (ok,4) and its frustrating but I hope to get this figured out!! Thanks to Nicolette for her help too.

Great post and great list! Here's a couple of other suggestions while you're putting around online.

1. Make sure that you're always directing people to visit your website or blog if you have one.

2. Make sure that there's a sign up on your website or blog so that you can contact people through email when you have a sale or when you put something new on your website, blog, or Etsy store.

3. Retweet interesting tweets by your favorite Twitter pals (I retweeted this post by the way)

4. If your Storque story idea isn't accepted, put it on your own website or blog...then tweet about it, tell your email list about it, write about it in the Etsy forums, post a message to your friends on Facebook.

5. Check out the IndiePublic and ArtReview social networks...you can waste even more time there joining marketing groups, posting articles, and networking with other artists.
